About this month's theme:
Over and over again, Black history demonstrates the power of hope in the darkest circumstances. Enslavement, Jim Crow, and countless disparities that exist today have weighed heavily on our collective experiences in America, but hope has proven to stand the test of time. This month, through an exciting virtual advent calendar experience, you'll get to explore the countless traditions, beliefs, and practices that keep hope alive in the Black community, come what may. You'll find art prints, word games that focus on freedom songs and spirituals, guides that explore traditions like watch night, a delicious recipe, hands-on activities for bringing hope to others, and so much more! In addition, you'll find bonus activities (and shop discounts) hidden within the advent calendar.
